モデルアートの歴史を支えた名ライター２人を辿る

モデルアートの創刊当初から活躍した人気ライターの「おおくらとしお」。 その作例、イラスト解説、連載と常に人気を博しました。
また、“おおくらとしお” としてではなくカメラマン岩河敏氏として作例を撮影した写真も誌面を飾りました。
造形家竹谷隆之氏がモデルアート社に在籍していた85〜87年の2年間のハウツー連載と岩河氏とともに撮影した写真による誌面も今でも記憶に残っています。
この本ではそれらの記事を数多く掲載し当時を振り返ります。

From the earliest days of Model Art magazine, the popular writer “Toshio Ōkura” captivated readers with his model builds, illustrated explanations, and serialized features. Beyond his pen name, as photographer Satoshi Iwakawa, he also filled the magazine’s pages with striking images of completed models. During 1985–1987, sculptor Takayuki Takeya was part of ModelArt, contributing how-to serials that remain memorable to this day. His work, often accompanied by photographs taken with Iwakawa, left a lasting impression on readers. This book brings together many of those treasured articles, offering a look back at the era and the creativity that shaped ModelArt’s history.
