● Special Feature: Messerschmitt Bf 109 "Gustav"

The Messerschmitt Bf 109 served as one of the Luftwaffe's principal fighter aircraft during World War II. The G-series, introduced during the later stages of the war, was powered by the high-performance Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine. Its armament was strengthened with 13 mm MG 131 machine guns to counter Allied heavy bombers and increasingly capable fighter aircraft.

The Bf 109G became the most extensively produced variant of the Bf 109 family and is widely regarded as one of its definitive versions.

This issue focuses on the Messerschmitt Bf 109G, particularly its early- and mid-production variants, which are attracting renewed attention following Tamiya's latest 1/48-scale kit release.
