特集その１は、50年ぶりにリニューアルを果たしたハセガワの二式大艇をメインに据え、
日本における大型飛行艇の発達史を、作例を交えて振り返ります。
特集その２は、ソ連編、アメリカ編と好評いただいた「冷戦時代の戦略核爆撃機」の第３弾、
イギリス空軍編をお届けします。冷戦前期、イギリスの核戦略の中核を担ったのは“３Ｖボマー”と呼ばれた、
名前の頭文字に「Ｖ」の付く３タイプの戦略核爆撃機でした。
今回はこの３Ｖボマー：ヴィクター、ヴァリアント、バルカンの３機種を1/72で作ってみます。

*Air Model Special No.17* delivers two major features!
The first feature focuses on Hasegawa’s newly updated Kawanishi H8K “Emily” flying boat, released for the first time in 50 years,
and revisits the development history of Japan’s large flying boats through detailed model builds.
The second feature is the third installment in our popular “Strategic Nuclear Bombers of the Cold War” series, following the Soviet and American editions.
This time we spotlight the Royal Air Force. During the early Cold War, the core of Britain’s nuclear strategy was carried by the so-called “V-bombers” –
three strategic bombers whose names all began with the letter “V.”
In this issue, we’ll model all three V-bombers – Victor, Valiant, and Vulcan – in 1/72 scale.
