With the release of the 1/48 scale F-5E Tiger II and its variants from AFV Club, the 1/48 F-5A/B Freedom Fighter from Kinetic, the 1/48 T-38A/C Talon kits from Wolfpack and Trumpeter, and the F-20A Tigershark from Freedom Model, there has been a recent surge in kits of Northrop’s compact light fighter and trainer aircraft—the F-5/T-38 series.
