栄光のドイツ戦車の礎を徹底解説

第二次大戦で最強の戦車ティーガー重戦車を生み出したドイツでは、第1次大戦での敗戦によりヴェルサイユ条約で軍備が大きく制約されて兵器開発も禁じられていました。そこで秘密裏に戦車の開発が進められイギリスのガーデンロイドキャリアーなども参考にシャシーが作られ、栄光のドイツ軍戦車の礎が完成したのでした。この後、僅か６年ほどでティーガー重戦車やパンター主力戦車が誕生しました。ドイツ戦車の礎となったⅠ号戦車A及びB型から新規設計の全くコンセプトの異なるC型やF型、さらには小型指揮戦車などの派生型までを寺田光男氏執筆による徹底解説でのモノグラフです。（自走砲などは含まれません）
